A unique terrain in the cradle of Albariño

The vineyard is fully Albariño’s local variety from vines 30 years old and uses the Galician traditional trellis system and insulating conductive soil moisture.

Our vineyard sits at the foot of Mount Monastery that delimits Castrove Salnes Valley to the coast, very close to the monastery whose monks of Cluny Armenteira brought the first stocks of Albariño.

The terrain is very special. This are soils resulting from the decomposition of granitic rock with large drainage capacity. Poor sandy and acidic soils that together with the climatology makes our own grapes with those characteristics of aroma, acidity and freshness.
