Historical grape harvest completed!

With almost 34 million kilos of grapes harvested, the crop this year is the second largest in the history of the DO Rias Baixas, only surpassed by the amount obtained in 2011.

According to data recorded by the Regulatory Council, this campaign ended on October 19 with 33,743,486 kilos of grapes collected, representing an increase of 92% over the previous year’s harvest.

The technical director of the IO Rias Baixas, Augustine Lake, highlighted “the quality of the grape and its healthy status on entry into the 175 wineries that belong to this denomination.” An historical grape harvest completed!
